One of the nicer aspects of living in Singapore is the ease of doing some great diving just at your doorstep. in 2012 we've done some dives with a liveaboard operator in Singapore and decided to
go with them again. We sailed to the Igara, a wreck about 5 hours away from Singapore on Malaysias East Coast. The Igara sank on March 12th, 1973 ladden with 127,000 tons of fine Brazillian iron
ore and was the biggest loss at sea at her time. The crew thankfully survived and the rear part of the vessel was cut and lifted later. Today, the Igara's rear sails the world as the "Eraclide.
It's a great dive and I hope you enjoy the photos.
