You all know that there is great diving in South East Asia. Think 30 meters visibility. Think large pelagic creatures. Think small critters. Think blue skies above and the big blue below. Well, you can also dive of the coast of Singapore. In October. With haze above (think grey, yellowish stink) and murky waters below (think 3 meters visibility. So why would one do that? There is a remote chance of spotting bamboo sharks and seahorses. And it is pretty cool to dive just a few kilometres from home, surrounded by oil rigs, refineries and hundreds of freighters. Only to find bamboo sharks and seahorses on a rather relaxing weekend off the coast of Singapore. Here's to the little red dots very own coral reefs!
